We offer our residents an attractive dining room where a delicious variety of traditional, home-cooked food is served at meal times. We source as much food as we can from local providers to make sure our meals are as fresh and as tasty as possible. If you have particular tastes, we can cater for you, and all special diets can be provided for.
Our garden is lovingly tendered by specialist staff who really enjoy what they do, and whose green fingers are available for inspection at all times! If you do like to get your hands dirty when it comes to gardening, then you will be most definitely encouraged to help out!
We have outside seating for when the weather warrants a little fresh air, and our garden is the perfect place in which to relax.
We arrange entertainment and activities on a regular basis, both in house and by means of trips out. We like to encourage our residents to both participate and contribute, but we of course respect the individual needs and requirements of everyone we have under our roof.
A wide range of visiting personnel are available on a regular basis to provide crucial services such as hairdressing, chiropody and optician services. We also have regular visits from representatives of all religions and faiths.
We do welcome friends and relatives to visit our residents at all reasonable times of the day, and as long as you give us sufficient notice for the sake of numbers, your friends and relatives are even welcome to join us at mealtimes.
All our personnel are on call 24 hours a day, and most of our staff are in possession of or are working towards a recognised NVQ qualification. We encourage all of our employees to maintain their care training, as we feel there is always something new to learn.
